The Great Field (Nagymező) is situated more than 900 m high, which is unique with regards to the Hungarian terrain. The surface filled with ponors, high mountain beech forests and mountain fields is a paradise for hikers. The view from the rocks on the edge of the plateau is spectacular towards the surrounding mountains.
