The Szalajka Liget Hotel **** and Apartmanházak have been true for 11 years, but they are just as wonderful. Undoubtedly, its location is ideal, as it is only a few minutes ’walk from the central train stop and you can discover the secrets of the Szalajka Valley.
The hotel is quite large and spacious compared to the rural hotels, which greatly serves the comfort of the Guests. The central building has 27 double rooms, 4 family rooms and one suite. In front of the main building are the apartment houses, which are essentially suitable for 4, 6 or 8 people, with a living room with an American kitchen, a fireplace and a huge terrace. Apartment houses are no longer popular with families, but also because of their uniqueness, they are also a destination for corporate events. In its atmosphere and furnishings, a feeling of intimacy, familiarity and tranquility runs throughout the complex, which is perfectly supported by the natural colors used. In addition to all these feelings, the sight that unfolds before us when we look into the distance from the balcony of our room is indescribable: during the day the ranges of the beautiful Beech beat the heart, and in the evening the sunset is what makes us decide to return here.
The hotel’s wellness and fitness area features two Finnish saunas with plunge pools, a steam room, an essential oil aroma cabin, a salt chamber, an infrared sauna, a hot tub, a solarium, a squash court, and cardio machines for all muscle groups. Among the ample selection, the willing staff will guide those who want to refresh themselves, who can turn off their tired bodies with ping-pong, squash, or even body treatments, oriental massage or even Nordic walking. The 28-degree pool is covered from autumn, but in summer, thanks to the retractable walls, water-lovers can swim freely. A novelty is that the wellness area includes a panoramic lounge and a baby pool for the convenience of guests. This place is also an excellent choice for families, as in addition to many services, such as: children's playground, pram, baby cot, changing table, high chair, children's bicycle, etc. - A playground has been created in an area of ​​200 square meters, which is modern and provides an experience for children of almost any age.
The facilities, quality and variability of the hotel's conference rooms, as well as the existence of the related conference and technical background, have provided the basis for 400 different professional events since the opening in 2006.
The list of programs offered to guests is quite long: you can take a small train to the Veil Falls, try the Adventure Park, the "Test the Best" bike programs, the Archeopark, the winter-summer toboggan run, or even ride if you like!
Improvements to the hotel service have still not stopped. From September 2013, the Szalajka Relax Park opened its doors next to the hotel - with a grill terrace for 150 people with an event oven - which is excellent for corporate "active" parties - a function room for 60 people, a multifunctional sports field (tennis, football, handball, volleyball), 9-hole mini-golf course, 16-person panoramic forest sauna, plunge pool, 15-person panoramic jacuzzi. Our new trout-frying terrace is also a great success in offering team-building programs.
