Our bob track was finished in December, 2008, and the bob lovers are able to enjoy this fun activity from 26th December. The track is at the entrance of the Szalajka Valley in Szilvásvárad, on the forest area next to the ski slide.

What makes it special is that it is a one pipe track. The Szilvásvárad bob is the first one of this technology in Hungary, coming from Austria, from the company Brandauer. The bobs are rolling down on a 15 cm wide pipe with 17 wheels in perfect safety. The bobs are for one person, but it is possible to take children with until 7 years old.

The bob riders are secured with a safety belt, and also the backrest and the seat insert provides safety. The child travelling with is also secured with a separate safety belt. In every bob there is a lever, with which everyone can control their speed. Top speed is appr. 40-45 km/h. This is controlled by a brake system.

Total length of the track is 620 m, incline is 52 m. From the building of the lower station an elevator pulls the bob rider sitting in the bob to the top of the track, where a 350 m long track is coming down with serpentines and jumps back to the station.
