The other attraction of the village which is known by many in the country is the Lipizzaner Stud and the facilities related to equestrian competitions. The Carriage exhibition can be found at Szilvásvárad, Fenyves str. 4., where the collection of horse-drawn vehicles is kept, starting from the simplest wagons to the most beautifully decorated carriages.
The task of the Szilvásvárad National Stud Farm – called today National Stud Farm Szilvásvárad – that was established in 1952 is to preserve the Lipizzaner breeding stock of Hungary.
